Northern Virginia & Washington D.C. based artist

Art is therapy for the soul. I am a painter, sculptor, model, mixed media artist, performance artist, land art artist, and jewelry maker; in short, I am an artist. I enjoy creating things and sharing them with others in hopes of awakening the creative within them.  I am ever growing and continuously learning and relearning.

I am a veteran and of Native American descent. I have used art to help me heal and I wanted to create something to help show how differently people can perceive the world.  I created an abstract piece of art, using multiple colors and iridescent pigments. By projecting multiple different colored lights onto the painting, it changed the colors on the painting and created a different piece.  I aimed to change the piece in front of the viewers eye to show them how just a slight change in light can create something so different and have us question our perception.

With this experience, I hope to shed light on how uniquely each one of us sees the world. In hopes to have the viewer raise the question, “how does my viewing of the world differ from how others view the world.”

My hope is to invoke thought and curiously about the world around us.

My goal is to remind us all that life is short so we need to follow our bliss and on that path discover our connectedness.
